Born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA, I have always found making art to be the most rewarding way to spend my time. A wiggly path in my youth led me through graduate work in both Art History (LSU) and Painting (ASU). For six years in my 20s I worked as a manager and craftsman at Stephen Wilson Stained Glass in Baton Rouge, next working as an art consultant at the jamjar in Dubai, which led to being a limited-edition print artist for Capsule Arts.  In my 30s I married my sweetheart Sim, moved to New Orleans then Austin, and had 4 babies along the way. I always kept art-making as my side passion and grounding outlet. We recently lived in Maui full time, and under the Hawaiian rainbows I mainly set art aside for snorkeling in the ocean, and that’s why you don’t see much art made in 2023.

I now live in Auckland, NZ and when we aren’t exploring the natural wonders here, I sew and paint in a home studio, hoping to get back into ceramics soon.

Thanks for coming to my site. Please be in touch; I would love to hear from you!
